Leak tracing
The area is degreased, the car run to temperature and re-inspected, because a leak's true source is rarely where the oil ends up. You get photographs of the actual source with the estimate.

Engine and drivetrain · Carrollton, Texas
Find it on the car, not on a hunch.
Oil leaks, seals, mounts and misfires investigated where they happen, on the car, with photographs and measured findings before an estimate is written.
Evidence before estimate
The V8 and V12 engines in the modern range are strong, but they age like any engine: seals harden, mounts soften, and the odd misfire announces itself on a cold morning first. The question is never whether something is leaking, it is what, from where, and whether it can wait.
That last part is where honest diagnosis earns its keep. Some seepage is worth watching; some will find the alternator or the exhaust within the year. Telling them apart takes the car on a lift with the degreaser off, not a guess from above.
Drivetrain wear joins the same conversation. Driveshaft joints, center supports and engine mounts each produce their own vibration signature, and each is checked with the symptoms you describe in hand.
The work
Clean the car, find the truth, photograph it.

When seals are due, they are replaced with genuine parts at factory torque values. On these engines the access sequence matters as much as the part, and the labor is quoted from the correct procedure rather than an optimistic guess.
Ignition, fueling and compression are considered together with the stored data, particularly on V12 cars where one weak coil can imitate a deeper problem. The finding is verified by reproduction, not by parts swapping.
Collapsed mounts transmit vibration into the cabin and stress nearby components. Driveline joints and supports are checked for play with the load applied, and any finding is documented beside the measured values.
In the bay

Top-end and induction work carried out with the bay photographed as it comes apart, step by step.

Exhaust runs, mounts and rear components inspected where heat does its quiet damage.

Oil lines, seals and mounts checked from below, where seepage shows first.
How an engine visit runs
Leak source traced, running faults reproduced, measurements recorded.
Photographs, measured values and a priority split: now, soon, or watch.
Genuine parts, factory torque values and procedures, recorded to the VIN.
Road test, re-inspection of the repaired area, and a written record.
Diagnosis visits are quoted up front; repair timelines are confirmed with the estimate once the scope is agreed.

Engine and drivetrain
V8 or V12, serviced by people who know both.
Where we work
From Carrollton we serve owners across Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Southlake and the Park Cities, with collection and return so a diagnosis visit does not cost your day.
A photo of the garage floor with cardboard under the drip, or a phone video of the noise, genuinely helps. Conditions we can see are conditions we can trace.
Why March Motorsports
Engine work is where the gap between a parts-changer and a diagnostician shows up on the invoice. The same oil spot can be a $20 gasket or a $2,000 teardown, and only one of those answers comes from looking first.
We trace every fault to its source, photograph it, and put the priority split in writing before you decide anything.
Leaks found on the lift after degreasing, photographed where they actually start.
What needs fixing now, what can wait, and what to watch, your call with evidence.
Correct access sequences, torque values and genuine parts, recorded on the invoice.
Areas we serve
Our Carrollton workshop serves owners throughout Dallas-Fort Worth, with collection and delivery available across the Metroplex and enclosed transport arranged statewide.

Questions
Often, yes, but which leak decides that. Seepage from a valve cover gasket is usually a watch item; anything reaching the exhaust or the alternator is not. A trace on the lift will tell you which you have.
Looking finds where oil ended up, not where it started. Proper tracing takes degreasing, running the car hot and re-inspection, that time is the diagnosis, and it is what keeps you from paying for the wrong repair.
Some character is normal, but vibration that has changed is usually a mount or a misfire. The two feel similar from the cabin and separate cleanly under measurement.
Yes. Genuine seals, gaskets and fasteners at factory torque values, with part numbers recorded on your invoice.
Yes. Mounts, driveshaft joints and any seepage are part of the scheduled inspection, and the findings go into your file with photographs.
