Most McLarens we see cover a few thousand miles a year. The mileage says the car is barely used; the calendar says the oil is a year old, the brake fluid is absorbing moisture, and the battery has been cycling against a drain it was never going to win.
Fluids, seals and rubber age whether the car moves or not. Oil picks up condensation from short starts, brake fluid pulls water out of the air, and tires harden in the Texas heat. That is why the factory schedule is written in years as well as miles, and why low-mileage cars are the ones most often behind on it.
Every scheduled service here ends the same way: a written record of what was done, the fluids and part numbers used, and the figures we measured, filed against your VIN. That file is what protects the warranty position and the resale value.
What an annual covers
- Engine oil and filter with the correct factory specification fluid
- Full fault scan and live-data check across every module
- Brake fluid moisture test, with a flush when it is due or out of tolerance
- Battery health and charging test, plus a parasitic draw check where history suggests one
- Inspection of brakes, tires, suspension, cooling and hydraulic systems with photographs
- Every fluid level, torque check and service item the schedule calls for at that interval
